Award-winning encaustic artist, LeAnn Bova, is an art adventurer. The experiences and ephemera that she collects while hiking and traveling spark new inspirations for her encaustic paintings with both natural and unnatural wonders. LeAnn Bova spent her childhood in rural Kansas. While visiting her aunt on summer vacations in Kansas City to visit her aunt with trips to the Nelson Atkins Gallery of Art gave her a life long desire to be an artist. Her selected works appear in the permanent student collection at the Nerman Museum of contemporary art and in private collections.
