Leonard Le’Doux Jr. is a lifelong artist that has been actively creating for as long as he can remember. He’s also a teacher and a painter.
Born and raised in Kansas City, KS, Le’Doux served in the U.S. Army for 22 years and then later graduated from the University of Missouri where he earned a bachelor’s degree in history. He then obtained a master’s degree in education from the University of Saint Mary. He now resides in Raytown, MO.
Le’Doux’s self-taught artistic talent has lured him into the medium of acrylic on canvas, however, he will occasionally experiment with other mediums. His paintings have a traditional and classical style with a modern aesthetic. His goal is to capture color and depth while incorporating elements from typography to abstraction to nonobjective styles.
